After making international news over the last year with:http://www.opentheborder.com/: this petition site created to support local ranchers and help raise awareness about this local, national and global issue. Alex Baum and Dan Kroffat took 114,000 signatures to Ottawa to present to the Prime Minister in mid-October, 2004. The petition has now wrapped up with over 150,000 signatures!
